With the publication of the official June 2026 statistics, the picture of Armenia's primary real estate market for the first half of the year has been completed. The results show that the high level of market activity established at the beginning of the year continued through June, recording significant growth compared with both the same period of the previous year and the first halves of recent years.
The official figures confirm that the market maintained a high level of activity throughout the first six months, delivering one of the strongest first-half performances in recent years. At the same time, these results establish the starting point for the second half of the year. Going forward, the key question will not only be the pace of growth but also the market's ability to sustain its current level of activity in the months ahead.

During the first half of 2026, a total of 9,036 purchase rights were registered in Armenia's primary real estate market. By comparison, 3,640 purchase rights were registered during the same period in 2025, while the figure for the first half of 2024 stood at 4,645. As a result, the market expanded by approximately 148% compared with the first half of 2025 and by approximately 94.5% compared with the first half of 2024.
These figures demonstrate that the market has not only recovered from the decline recorded in the previous year but has also significantly exceeded the performance of the first half of 2024, delivering the strongest first-half result of recent years.
In June 2026, 1,588 purchase rights were registered in Armenia's primary real estate market, compared with 840 in June 2025. This represents an annual increase of approximately 89%. June's performance not only completed the overall picture of the first half but also confirmed that the strong market activity observed since the beginning of the year was sustained through the end of the first six months. This provides an important foundation for the second half of the year, as the market enters the next stage with solid demand and a high level of transaction activity.
As outlined in our previous analysis of the trends expected during the second half of 2026, market activity is likely to continue to be supported by developers' flexible financing solutions, sustained demand in communities surrounding Yerevan, and major industry events scheduled for the autumn, which may encourage the launch of new projects and support sales activity. At the same time, the significantly higher comparison base may result in more moderate year-over-year growth rates during the second half of the year. However, this should not be interpreted as a weakening of the market. On the contrary, if current activity levels are maintained, 2026 has every opportunity to become one of the most active years for Armenia's primary real estate market in recent history.
The official results for the first half of 2026 confirm that Armenia's primary real estate market continues to develop under conditions of strong market activity. The substantial increases recorded compared with the first halves of both 2024 and 2025 indicate that the market is now operating at a significantly larger scale than in previous years.
